Crowds in these days were typically sparse and on this dreary day with the dreadnought of school soccer on the town, the stadium had plenty of nice seats in the East and West stadium. No North or South stadium existed, aside from the knothole section, nor have been there any plays for these additions. Memorial Stadium may seat 48,000 people and Coach Jennings thought that was greater than the state of Nebraska would ever need.
